Gypsy Boots (back left) and the Nature Boys - Topanga Canyon, 1958

Gypsy Boots was the original health nut, his group was the inspiration to the 1947 song, Nature Boy, composed by eden ahbez (front left). Boots lived (mostly outdoors) in the hollywood hills, founded the first health food store in the US, and promoted organic foods and vegetarianism.
